The Fairy Tale Tarot

This is a very innovative Tarot, a deck that demands some degree of effort from readers. Each card relates to an entire fairy tale, keyed to the meanings of the Tarot. You will recognize many tales, like Three Little Pigs, Rapunzel, and Snow White. And you will learn new tales, drawn from Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and Native America.

Many of the Major Arcana are renamed in a fairy tale manner, such as Innocence for The Fool, The Fairy Godmother for The Empress, and Happily Ever After for The World. The elemental suits are artfully referenced in the Minor Arcana. The characters and plot of each fairy tale subtly convey the traditional meanings of the RWS cards.

This is a very deep and multi-layered Tarot. This deck encourages us to engage the world of fairy tales in a Jungian manner.
